Welcome!

You are welcome to join us this coming Sunday, March 17, the Fifth Sunday of Lent. Plains will host four other Mennonite congregations at our 10:15 a.m. service (Ambler, Methacton, Perkasie, and Salford) for a special prayer service of peace, justice, and healing in Palestine and Israel. We’ll be reading biblical prayers of grief and hope, listening to Palestinian and Jewish friends share the prayers that are on their hearts, and then gathering around them to pray. Afterward, there will be a chance to mingle and chat. Please come and pray with us, and feel free to invite anyone you know who might be interested. Please carpool if possible, as parking will be tight! Donations during the offering will go to Mennonite Action unless otherwise designated. Click here to watch: Prayers of Grief and Hope for the People of Palestine and Israel.

There will be no Sunday School for adults on March 17 but classes for children begin 9:00 am.

Our Easter Sunday service will be held on March 31, at 9:30 am. Please note there are no Sunday School classes this day- instead we will share a light meal beginning at 8:00 a.m. and the start time of our service is earlier so households can celebrate Easter day together.

At Plains you will find women and men, young and old, seeking to live as faithful followers of Jesus Christ. The members at Plains are committed to caring for others, practicing peacemaking, and sharing God’s love and resources in the local community and across the wider church and world. We are excited about what God is doing in the life of our church. We invite you to visit, take part in our worship, and join with us as we journey together with Jesus. Mike Derstine, pastor, welcomes your phone calls and questions.
